Lourdes   7 Day Itinerary

 

Day 1: Depart USA
Enjoy an overnight flight with meals served aboard the aircraft.

Day 2: Lourdes
Arrive in Paris for transfer to Lourdes by air. Arrival in Lourdes where the group will be met by the tour guide and transferred to the hotel. Afternoon, join the group for a walking tour of the Shrine, including the three basilicas. View a video presentation of the story of Lourdes. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes. (D)

Day 3: Lourdes
After breakfast at the hotel and Mass, enjoy morning free for personal devotions. Also take the opportunity to participate in the “Miraculous Baths”. In the afternoon, take part in OPTIONAL SIDE TRIP (approximate cost of $35) in “The Footsteps of St. Bernadette” with an orientation tour of Lourdes and visit of the small village of Bartres where St. Bernadette spent a part of her childhood. Overnight in Lourdes. (B)
 

Day 4: Lourdes
After breakfast in the hotel and Mass, enjoy morning free for personal devotions. In the afternoon please feel free to take part in OPTIONAL SIDE TRIP (approximate cost $40) to Cauterets through the Valley of the Lavedan, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Pyrenees. On return trip to Lourdes, stop to visit the tiny village of St. Savin and visit the famous Parish Church. Overnight in Lourdes. (B)

Day 5: Lourdes
After breakfast at the hotel enjoy a free day in Lourdes. Or, take part in an OPTIONAL SIDE TRIP (approximate cost of $55) to Biarritz, one of the most famous seaside resorts located along the Atlantic Ocean, 100 miles from Lourdes. You will enjoy different landscapes, such as the Basque country and seaside, all in one. Overnight in Lourdes. (B)
 

Day 6: Lourdes
After breakfast at the hotel and Mass, you may take part in OPTIONAL SIDE TRIP (approximate cost $40) to Pau through the valley of Betharram. You will stop at the Shrine of Lestelle Betharram where you will visit the lovely church. Then, you’re your way to Pau, capital city of the Bearn Region. Stop in the afternoon to visit the wonderful Castle of Henry IV, masterpiece of the Renaissance Style, nicely furnished and well preserved. Return to Lourdes for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
 

Day 7: Lourdes

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for airport. Arrival in U.S. same day.  (B)
