10 Day Itinerary |
Day 1: Depart USA
Enjoy an overnight flight with meals served aboard the aircraft.
Day 2: Cliffs of Moher /
Galway
Upon arrival in Shannon
board the motorcoach and depart for Galway in the morning and visit
the impressive Cliffs of Moher. ravel along the coast of County
Clare and visit the quaint villages of Ballyvaughan and Kinvara. Enjoy tea and scones at
Rathbaun Farm. Arrive in Galway for dinner and overnight. (D)
Day 3: Galway / Connemara / Galway
Enjoy some
time in the Connemara region, famous for its lakes and mountains.
Take a scenic ride along the coast with a brief stop in Spiddal,
famous for its Irish knitwear, Kylemore Abbey, and the Connemara
Marble Visitors Centre. Overnight in Galway. (B,D)
Day 4: Galway / Knock / Dublin
Depart Galway in the morning and arrive in Knock for a visit.
Continue to Dublin for a free afternoon. Overnight in Dublin. (B,D)
Day 5: Dublin City
Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Ireland’s capital city,
including visits to St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Trinity College.
Also see O’Connell Street, Christchurch Cathedral and the Bank of
Ireland. Visit also to Irish Whiskey Corner. The afternoon and
evening are free. (B)
Day 6: Dublin / Waterford
Depart Dublin to County
Wicklow, known as "The Garden of Ireland", to Glendalough. With its
famous round tower, it is one of the most enduring images of County
Wicklow. A truly beautiful location, which is steeped in history.
The English name Glendalough comes from the Irish Gleann
Dá Locha, which translates, to "The
Valley of the Two Lakes". Also stop in Avoca before arriving in
Waterford for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Waterford / Killarney
In the morning tour the Waterford Crystal factory. Upon arrival
in Blarney visit the famous Blarney Stone as well as the Castle and
woolen mils.
Arrive in Killarney in the late afternoon with the balance of time
at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Killarney. (B,D)
Day 8: Killarney / The Ring of Kerry
Enjoy a ride along the scenic Ring of Kerry and visit Killorglin,
famous for the Puck Fair. Visits also to the towns of Glenbeigh,
Cahirciveen, Waterville, and Sneem. From Sneem return to Killarney
for dinner and overnight. Tonight, OPTIONAL trip to The Laurels,
Ireland’s premier singing pub for an evening of fun. Overnight in
Killarney. (B,D)
Day 9: Killarney / Adare
Depart Killarney after breakfast.
Visit charming Limerick City Limerick, Ireland’s 3rd largest City
and birthplace of Frank McCourt, author of the Pulitzer Prize
winning book “Angela’s Ashes”. Our first stop is Adare or “Áth Dara”
in Irish, meaning, “Ford of the Oaks” and is considered one of
Ireland's most picturesque villages. One of Adare's most
photographed attractions is the thatched cottages on the main street
built around 1825. Depart the hotel for an evening medieval banquet
at a Castle in Bunratty. (B,D)
Day 10: Killarney / Shannon/ USA
Depart after breakfast for the Shannon Airport. Bid farewell to
Ireland and arrive USA same day. (B)
