ITINERARY
DAY
1: USA
Depart
U.S. from New York area Airport. Enjoy dinner served aboard
overnight flight.
DAY
2: USA / TEL AVIV
Arrive
Ben Gurion Airport where group will be met by tour guide. Transfer
by deluxe motorcoach to hotel. Dinner and overnight in Netanya
or Galilee area. (D)
DAY
3: TEL AVIV / GALILEE
After
breakfast depart Tel Aviv and enjoy scenic views along the coastal
road to Caesarea to visit the ruins of ancient Roman Theatre and the
crusader town. Continue to Haifa to visit Mt. Carmel.
Mass will be celebrated in Stella Maris Church. Continue to
Nazareth and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, and to
Cana. Arrival at your hotel in Galilee for dinner and overnight.

DAY
4: GALILEE / JERUSALEM
Visit
sites along the shores of the Sea of Galilee – Mt. of Beatitudes,
Tabgha (site of the miracle of the multiplication of the
loaves and fishes), and Capernaum. Continue to Bet She’An and
Jericho, the most ancient city in the world. Arrive in Jerusalem.
Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B,D)
DAY
5: JERUSALEM / BETHLEHEM
After
enjoying breakfast at hotel depart for a full day tour of
Jerusalem. In the morning visit Mt. of Olives, Mt. Scopus, the
Garden of Gethsemane and the Basilica of Agony. Continue
to Kidron Valley and Mt. Zion as well as the Last
Supper Room. Continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the
Nativity with a Mass in the Grotto. The group will also observe
Shepherd’s Field and visit Rachel’s Tomb. Dinner and overnight in
Jerusalem. (B,D)
DAY
6: JERUSALEM
Visit
the Old City of Jerusalem. Enter St. Stephen’s Gate and visit
the Church of St. Ann (birthplace of Our Lady). Continue with a
walking tour of the Via Dolorosa (carrying a large wooden
replica of the cross if available) as well as visit to the Holy
Sepulchre (Mass if available), the Christian and Armenian
quarters, the Kardo, and The Wailing (Western) Wall.
Continue to Yad Vashem Memorial Museum and Ein Karem,
and the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. Dinner and overnight in
Jerusalem. (B,D)
DAY
7: JERUSALEM / JORDAN
Depart after breakfast
for transfer to border between Israel and Jordan. After crossing
border at the Allenby Bridge, the group will be met by local tour
guide and deluxe motorcoach. Enjoy an orientation tour of Jerash
and visit one of the finest examples of preserved Roman civilization
in the area. After visit, transfer to Amman for dinner and
overnight. (B,D)
DAY
8: PETRA
After
breakfast, depart hotel for a full day tour of Petra, the
city often called the “red rose city” because of the unique color of
its architecture. After passing through the sole entrance of the
“lost city” (on foot or by horse), visit the Tombs and Treasury and
other important sites. Return to Amman for dinner and overnight.

DAY
9: JORDAN / ISRAEL
Depart
Amman to the Allenby Bridge. En route, visit the interesting city of
Madaba, where the oldest maps of the Holy Land exist on the floor of
St. George’s Church. Continue to Mt. Nebo – site reported to be the
burial place of Moses. Continue to cross border into Israel and
transfer to hotel in Jerusalem area for special “Farewell Dinner”.
The group will go to Ben Gurion Airport after dinner for late
flight. (B,D)

10: HOLY LAND / U.S.A.
Arrive
U.S.

Round-trip airfare from a New York area airport, airport-hotel
transfers, hotel taxes, full Israeli breakfast (in the Holy Land) or
breakfast (Jordan) and dinner daily, accommodations in 3 and 4 star
hotels with private bathrooms, sightseeing as indicated in
itinerary, tour guide / escort, deluxe motorcoach transportation,
and porterage.
Not included: Visas (which must be
obtained in the U.S.), border taxes, Hotel tips, and tips to
waiters, bus drivers and tour escorts/guides.
