World Youth Day    Pilgrimage #01 10 Day Itinerary August 13 to 22, 2011

 

ITINERARY

 

Day 1: Depart USA

The group will depart on an overnight flight to Spain. Meals will be served on board.

 

Day 2: Madrid

Upon arrival in Spain the group will be transferred by deluxe motor coach to the hotel. Enjoy an afternoon orientation tour of Madrid from the motor coach and pass by such sights as the Prado and the world famous Royal Palace before proceeding to the hotel. Afternoon check-in at the hotel. Balance of

the day free. Dinner and overnight in Madrid. (D)

 

Day 3: Madrid – World Youth Day Activities

After breakfast enjoy World Youth Day activities including the opening Mass of Welcome. Overnight in Madrid. (B)

 

Day 4: Madrid – World Youth Day Activities

After breakfast enjoy World Youth Day activities.

Overnight in Madrid. (B)

 

Day 5: Madrid – World Youth Day Activities

After breakfast enjoy World Youth Day activities.

Overnight in Madrid. (B)

 

Day 6: Madrid – World Youth Day Activities

After breakfast enjoy World Youth Day activities.

Overnight in Madrid. (B)

 

Day 7: Madrid – World Youth Day Activities

After breakfast enjoy World Youth Day activities.

Overnight in Madrid. (B)

 

Day 8: Madrid – World Youth Day Activities

After breakfast enjoy World Youth Day activities.

Overnight in Madrid. (B)

 

Day 9: Madrid – World Youth Day Activities

After breakfast enjoy World Youth Day activities including the Concluding Mass with His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Dinner in Madrid as supplied by the World Youth Day Committee. Return to hotel for overnight in Madrid. (B)

 

Day 10: Depart Spain for USA

Depart from hotel after early breakfast for flight out of Madrid Airport for New York. Arrive home same day. (B)

*Price is per person, based on double occupancy. Add $120 departure tax, $240 fuel surcharge and $189 for optional travel insurance. Departure taxes and fuel surcharges are subject to change up until the time the group seats are purchased by The Catholic Tour, typically 60-30 days prior to departure.There are a limited number of single rooms available.  Single Supplement: $789. Land Only price: $1,750.00 per person, based on double occupancy.
